Save the Date: Ongoing Reformation
Once again the OnGoing Reformation conference is poised to consider the pressing need for the 21st century church to race onward towards evermore Christ like reform in our lives and ministries. Romans 8, the topic of this year’s conference, will be taught in an expositional manner with five different speakers plumbing the depth of Gods power in a believer’s life.
Often we see the power of Justification in Romans, but perhaps we undervalue the beauty of sanctification in the life of the believer revealed in chapters 7-8. The rich power of Christ that so marvelously justifies is here made manifest to all as the same power at work in those who are being sanctified. From the reconciliation to the Father to active Christian service propelled by the Spirit, Christ’s all satisfying work is showcased as the power behind the growing Christlikeness of every true believer in Christ.
